CP758 – Full-time Rota Nanny/Governess required for B5 in Montana, LA & New York, USA, Salary $120,000 – $135,000 per annum, starting as soon as possible.
This role is only suitable for candidates legally able to work in the USA with a valid visa or passport.
A highly recommended high profile family is seeking a caring, creative, passionate and professional Nanny/Governess to assist in the care of their 5-year-old son.
The young boy commences kindergarten this week and requires a Nanny/Governess to assist with his daily routines – waking up, getting dressed, getting ready for kindergarten, preparing meals, escorting to and from kindergarten, helping with school work, bathtime, general cleanliness and bedtime.
The child enjoys a range of activities and seeks a candidate able to engage him, have fun with him but also act as an appropriate role model and mentor.
The Nanny/Governess should be creative, energetic and passionate. Be able to promote development (social, emotional and physical), arrange excursions, playdates, teach etiquette and promote good behaviour.
The mother is currently at home, taking care of the youngest sibling in the family, with the assistance of a Maternity Nurse. As the young sibling turns one the Nanny/Governess will take over the care and provide the daily support to the younger sibling too. Therefore, as a Nanny, you must be confident in caring for two siblings at the same time and able to meet their daily needs and development.
The ideal candidate will hold relevant qualifications; have extensive experience in the field and have a can-do attitude, with experience of caring for siblings. This is a family/team approach to parenting.
A solid background and understanding in child development, early years, and ability to teach a second language will be beneficial to your application.
The parents both work in demanding roles that often take them on different working locations. The candidate must be happy to travel and explore new areas.
At present, the family is located in Montana, where they plan to stay for the immediate future. They also have homes in LA and New York and often holiday in the Bahamas. They will relocate to these homes when schools reopen and the cities are safe with reduced cases of COVID.
The working schedule will be on rotation working with their current long term nanny, who has been with them for over three years. Working 1-week on/1 week off or 2 weeks/ 2weeks off providing 24-hour cover (if required). Flexibility is required. The parents are fair and understand the need for rest and respite. A typical day starts at 7am, the young boy attends school from 8.45 – 3.30pm and the working day finishes at bedtime.
This is a rotation role. Separate accommodation is provided during your non-working week for the present time and this will vary depending on location. For example, in Montana, the candidate will have a hotel room and in New York a separate apartment. Once travel becomes safe due to COVID the candidate can return home on their non-working shift or if they live close by/within driving distance can drive to and from each shift.
The family is seeking a candidate willing to commit long term.
