An American/Finnish family is seeking a top nanny to provide the shared care and development of their two children.
The family travel extensively throughout the year and often spend a couple of months in each location. A large team of tutors and nannies travel with them to ensure the children have the care and education required.
As a nanny, you will be responsible for the children’s daily care, mainly focused on the boy aged 7. You will ensure he has all he needs each day, manage his schedule, liaise with his homeschooling tutors, and plan ahead for their next location. From time to time you may be required to prepare light meals for him in the absese of the family’s chef.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified nanny with at least 5 years’ experience working in a rota position. Being bubbly, confident, and imaginative is essential for this role. Being organised is crucial due to the travel involved. A confident driver is also essential for this role.
The family speaks English and Finnish in the home; therefore, speaking Finnish would be beneficial to your application.
The working schedule is based on 24-hour cover, with core hours of 7:30 am to 7:30 pm and downtime in the evenings thereafter. The rota pattern is 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off
This is a live-in position with a private bedroom provided.
