Full-time English-speaking Governess required for B4 located in Dubai, UAE. Salary 20,000 – 25,000 AED per month. Live-out. Immediate start.
A warm and welcoming family based on the Palm in Dubai is seeking an experienced, engaging, and educationally focused Governess to support the care and development of their 4-year-old son.
The boy currently attends school, and your duties will begin with school collection at approximately 1:30 pm, followed by educational and developmental support throughout the afternoon and evening routine until bedtime. You will be expected to create engaging age-appropriate activities, support emotional and social development, encourage independence, and promote learning opportunities through play, exploration, travel, and daily life experiences.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher or experienced Governess who is passionate about early years education and child development. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between school and home life, promoting learning through everyday experiences, encouraging curiosity about the world, and ensuring developmental milestones are supported in a fun, nurturing, and engaging environment.
This is a fully staffed household, and the successful candidate must be confident working collaboratively as part of a team alongside the family’s nanny and household staff. A friendly, positive, flexible, and proactive nature is essential for this role.
The working schedule is 5 days on/2 days off, currently Monday to Friday.
The family travels to the UK during the summer months, and the successful candidate will be required to travel with them. An EU or UK passport holder is therefore preferred due to the family’s travel requirements.
This is a live-out position and therefore, candidates must already have their own suitable accommodation in Dubai.
Salary 20,000 – 25,000 AED per month, negotiable to the right candidate.
