Full-time – Chauffeur (live out)

Full-time Chauffeur required for a private family located in London. Salary £50,000–£60,000 gross per annum. Live-out. Start before 31st August.

A private family based in London is seeking an experienced, professional and highly discreet Chauffeur to provide reliable day-to-day driving support for the family.

The household consists of the principals and four children, and the Chauffeur will be responsible for safely transporting family members to and from business meetings, appointments, social engagements, the airport, school, activities and other destinations as required. The successful candidate must therefore be child-friendly, patient and comfortable working around a busy family schedule.

Alongside driving duties, you will be responsible for maintaining the family’s vehicles to an exceptional standard. This will include ensuring all vehicles are kept immaculately clean, fuelled and fully prepared at all times, as well as coordinating servicing, MOTs, repairs and general maintenance.

The family travels for approximately 12 weeks of the year, during which the Chauffeur will generally be expected to take their annual leave. There will also be a requirement to travel with the family for a maximum of approximately two weeks per year.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced private Chauffeur with excellent knowledge of London and the surrounding areas. You should be calm, punctual, flexible and highly professional, with excellent road awareness and a strong understanding of discretion when working within a private household.

The working schedule will be 5.5 days per week, Monday to Friday from approximately 7:30 am to 7:30 pm, plus a half day on Saturday. Flexibility will be required depending on the family’s schedule and commitments.

The position is ideally offered on a self-employed basis; however, the family may consider employing an exceptional candidate if preferred.

This is a live-out position, and only suited to candidates who live within a reasonable commuting distance of London.
