Full-time – Housekeeper/Cook (live out)

Full-time Housekeeper/Cook required for a private family located in Monaco & Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, France. Salary €42,000 – €55,000 gross per annum. Live-out. Start ASAP.

A private family is seeking an experienced and professional Housekeeper to join their household on a long-term basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining two private residences to an exceptional standard, ensuring both properties are presented and ready for the family’s arrival at all times.

As a Housekeeper, your duties will include the daily cleaning and upkeep of both properties, preparing guest rooms, carrying out laundry, ironing, wardrobe management, changing bed linen, and ensuring the homes remain immaculate. You will also be responsible for shopping for groceries and household supplies, keeping the properties well stocked, managing household inventories, assisting with travel packing and unpacking, and providing table setting and light service when the family is entertaining.

In addition, you will prepare simple, fresh meals for the family, including breakfasts, light lunches and other straightforward dishes as required. You will also be responsible for preparing hot and cold beverages, ensuring the kitchen is clean and organised, and maintaining a well-stocked pantry. The role requires someone who is confident preparing wholesome, home-style meals rather than restaurant-quality cuisine.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Housekeeper with previous experience working within private households. You will be energetic, trustworthy, organised, and proactive, taking pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards. Functional English is essential, French is highly desirable, and Spanish would be considered an advantage. A full EU driving licence is preferred.

The working schedule will be approximately 40 hours per week, split between the two properties in Monaco and Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. Flexibility will be required during the summer months and when the family are in residence.

This is a live-out position and is only suitable for candidates already located within a commutable distance.
