Full-time French-speaking Nanny required for B6 months in the Bahamas. Salary $1700 – $1900 gross per week, Live-in, Start October.
A welcoming Canadian family who are located in the Bahamas is seeking a friendly Nanny to care for their young boy aged 6 months.
As a Nanny, you will work in close partnership with the mother to support all aspects of the child’s daily care and development. Your responsibilities will include overseeing and actively participating in the child’s routine, including sleep schedules, bathing, weaning, and nappy changes. You will ensure the child’s environment is clean, organised, and well-maintained, including managing the child’s laundry and belongings.
This is the family’s first child, and they are seeking a confident, experienced nanny who can offer gentle guidance and reassurance as they navigate early parenthood.
The ideal candidate will be a warm and caring French-speaking nanny with over five years of experience working with children of a similar age, ideally with a background in early childhood education or strong experience in child development. Fluency in both English and French is essential, as is being a confident driver, a strong swimmer, and a dog lover.
The family is keen to find the right candidate for the role, who will become part of their family for many years to come.
The working schedule is 5 days per week. The days off will change each week, but will be confirmed 1 month in advance.
This is a live-in position with a private bedroom provided within the family home. In future, the family may be able to provide a private guest villa.

Salary $1700 – $1900 gross per week
