The Role
Full-time English-speaking Governor/Governess required for G4 and B6, located in Monaco. Salary £450 gross per day. Live-in. Rota 2 weeks on/off. Start September/October.
A recommended family residing in Monaco is seeking a highly experienced English-speaking Governor/Governess to assist with language development, general development, and the academic studies of their two children.
As a Governor/Governess, you will provide an array of engaging activities in English, plan classes, assist with schoolwork, escort the elder boy to and from school and extracurricular activities, and create a fun, active, and educational programme. The eldest boy is very active and requires a Governor/Governess who can keep him busy, attend sports with him, encourage his interests, and ensure he remains engaged, stimulated, and happy while continuing to learn.
The focus will be on the eldest child, who is currently fluent in English and French. He attends an international school in Monaco. While he is at school, you will spend time with the younger child, supporting her communication skills and ensuring both children are happy, settled, and well supported throughout the day. A Nanny is also in place, and you will work alongside her; she will be responsible for all care-related duties.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced English-speaking Governor/Governess, qualified to at least PGCE/QTS level, with a proven track record in similar roles and excellent references.
The working schedule will be 2 weeks on/off, working approximately 12 hours per day. Flights are provided at the start and end of each shift. Preference will be given to candidates already located in Monaco or the surrounding areas.
The family has a fully staffed household, and they are keen to find the right candidate who will become part of the team and remain with them long-term.
This is a live-in position, with accommodation provided in a private room and bathroom in the client’s home during the working shift.
International travel is required on a regular basis.

EU passport holder
