The Role
Full-time English-speaking Nanny required for B2 with special educational needs, located in Istanbul, Turkey. Salary £1,400 – £1,800 gross per week. Live-in, start ASAP.
A recommended client located in Istanbul is seeking an experienced SEN Nanny to provide care and support for their young son.
The young boy encountered a tragic accident and suffered a brain injury. Despite undergoing surgery, he has unfortunately lost his ability to speak and walk. However, there have been notable strides in his recovery journey. Although he cannot verbally communicate, he demonstrates efforts to vocalise and emits sounds. He is currently undertaking a range of intensive development programmes and therapies.
The family are keen to find a reliable SEN Nanny who is experienced with brain injuries, cognitive therapy and speech therapy and able to support the young boy on a daily basis.
As a SEN Nanny, you will be responsible for meeting the daily needs of the child to encourage him to reach relevant, achievable milestones as well as supporting his academic and social development.
Duties will involve working daily with the boy and covering full care duties. This will include following the programme and routine in place – assisting and promoting independence with dressing, feeding, bathing, brushing teeth, and life skills. The boy is currently attending several therapeutic sessions, and you will be required to travel with him during these sessions.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified and experienced nanny who is caring, passionate, kind, patient, energetic, hardworking, professional yet fun, engaging, and willing to support the family while learning from the professionals around them. Experience with SEN children is essential, along with cognitive therapy and speech therapy.
The family are keen to find the right candidate for the role who will remain with them for years to come.
The working schedule will be 5 days on/2 days off, with days off subject to change each week.
The family travel regularly, and you will be required to travel with them.
A private bedroom is provided within the family home.

Package:
