Full-time – Travelling Housekeeper (Live in)

Full-time English-speaking Housekeeper required in London, UK + travel. Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 gross per annum. Live-in. Start ASAP.

A family of four located in London, UK is seeking a friendly and experienced Housekeeper to maintain their family home in London and travel with the family between their homes (London, Tbilisi, Nairobi and Italy).

As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the household. Duties will include general cleaning (both dry and wet), laundry, ironing of clothes and bed linen, and ensuring the home remains well-organised and stocked. You will take the lead on ordering household supplies and be expected to maintain the home to a high standard. Cooking is not a key responsibility, as professional chefs are employed, however, the candidate should feel comfortable preparing simple meals or light dishes when required.

Each property is fully staffed with security and management teams, as well as resident housekeepers in each location and needs a person who is able to travel with them and knows their requirements & preferences to be able to arrange things in the right way. The candidate may occasionally be required to travel in advance or remain independently to oversee specific household tasks. This could include managing the London residence prior to the family’s arrival.

The ideal candidate will be hard-working, experienced, and committed, with a proactive and positive attitude. You must be a good communicator, polite, respectful, and reliable, with prior experience working in private households.

The working schedule is 6 days on / 1 day off (Sunday), working from 9 am to 6 pm. Flexibility is greatly appreciated (if extra hours are needed, the family is happy to negotiate a bonus).

During the winter months, the family resides in Kenya before travelling to Europe, typically moving between residences three to five times per year. Start will be in Kenya.

This is a live-in position, separate room provided in each location.
