A lovely family is seeking a confident, professional, friendly qualified Maternity Nurse to assist in the general care of their new-born child expected in November.

As a Maternity nurse, you will be required to provide assistance and advice on feeding, bathing, sleeping, clothing, establishing routines and physically performing all of these tasks as and when required to assist the first time parents.

The ideal candidate will hold relevant qualifications; have extensive experience in the field and have a can-do attitude. The parents are relaxed in their approach as first-time parents and wish for a candidate to provide them with the best guidance and help in becoming parents.

Speaking Spanish would be beneficial to make living in Barcelona easier, although not essential. The parents are Spanish and New Zealander.

This is a live-in position with a private bedroom and bathroom provided within the family apartment, which is located in the centre of Barcelona.

The working schedule is 6 days on with 1 day off, you will be expected to be on call 24 hours a day and assist during the night. There will be downtime each day while the child sleeps and is with their parents.

The contract is for 2 months with the possibility to extend for a further month.

Salary £250 – £300 per day
