Full-time – Homeschooling Teaching Couple (live out)

Full-time Homeschooling Teaching Couple required for B6 & G11, travelling throughout Europe and Asia. Salary £190,000+ gross per annum per person. Live-in. Start January 2027.

A family is seeking an exceptional and highly experienced Homeschooling Teaching Couple to accompany them on an exciting one-year gap year travelling throughout Europe and Asia. The successful candidates will take joint responsibility for the children’s education throughout their travels, creating an engaging, immersive, and academically rigorous learning experience that extends far beyond the traditional classroom.

As a Homeschooling Teaching Couple, you will work together to plan and deliver a comprehensive homeschooling curriculum for both children, ensuring their academic development continues to progress throughout the year. Each day will combine focused, sit-down lessons with practical and experiential learning, using the family’s travels as an opportunity to explore different cultures, history, geography, science, languages, and the world around them.

The family is keen to create a relaxed and inspiring educational environment where learning feels natural and enjoyable. Afternoons may involve visiting museums and cultural sites, exploring new destinations, outdoor activities, sports, nature, and other experiences that complement the children’s academic studies.

The ideal candidates will be highly qualified and experienced educators with a strong background in homeschooling and the confidence to independently implement and manage a full homeschooling curriculum. The couple should complement one another’s skill sets and be active, energetic, curious, and passionate about travel, with the ability to turn new experiences and environments into meaningful educational opportunities.

The family is looking for a teaching couple who will become a genuine part of the family and build a long-term relationship with the children. Following the one-year travelling period, the family will return to either Korea or Japan, and the successful candidates will be expected to relocate with them and continue supporting the children’s education.

The working schedule will be 5/2, working up to 10 hours per day. Flexibility will be required during periods of travel.

This is a live-in position, with accommodation provided.

The salary on offer is £190,000+ gross per annum per person, depending on experience and qualifications.
