The Role
Full-time English-speaking Nanny/Governess required for G3, located in Tilal Al Ghaf, Dubai, salary 24,000–25,000 AED per month, live-out. Start ASAP.
This role is only suitable for candidates already located in Dubai with their own accommodation.
A warm family, recently relocated to Dubai, is seeking an exceptional, experienced and engaging Nanny/Governess to care for their daughter, who is nearly 4 years old.
The young girl is bright, curious, articulate and energetic. She does not currently attend nursery or school, and the family are looking for someone who can create a happy, stimulating and varied environment around her.
The family are not looking for formal schooling at home. Instead, the Nanny/Governess should recognise and develop the child’s interests naturally through conversation, reading, imaginative play, arts and crafts, music, outdoor activities and outings. You will plan engaging days, arrange activities and playdates, support routines and independence, prepare healthy meals and take responsibility for the child’s general wellbeing and belongings. Supporting good manners, social and emotional development and loving boundaries will also be important. The family follows a gentle parenting approach.
The ideal candidate will be kind, intelligent and energetic, with a genuine enjoyment of young children. She should be articulate, well educated and have excellent spoken English. Early Years knowledge or qualifications such as CACHE, NNEB, Montessori, Early Years Education or Child Development would be highly valued, alongside previous private household experience.
The family travels occasionally, and flexibility to accompany them would be welcomed.
The working schedule is 5 days per week, with Sunday as a fixed day off and a second flexible as per the family needs. Working hours will be contracted up to 50 hours per week. It is unlikely that a normal working week will reflect this, but the contracted hours will accommodate any additional requirements while travelling with the family.
This is a live-out role with no accommodation provided. The family will provide appropriate visa support.
The family are seeking a long-term appointment and would like someone to start ASAP, although they are happy to wait for the right candidate if a notice period is required.
