The Role
Temporary English & French speaking Governess/Governor required for G8, B7 & B5, located in Antibes, France, €1200 – €1500 per week. Start June 2024 (3-month contract).
A lovely family is seeking an energetic, engaging and experienced Bilingual Governess/Governor for their 3 children aged G8, B7 and B5 years old to support them in their general development and academic studies.
The children’s native language is Russian, they are nearly fluent in the English language and started learning French. They need to maintain and improve their current levels in English and require French tuition and classes, as well as fun educational activities to enhance their learning in both langauges.
As a Governess/Governor, you will be required to provide structured, engaging & age-appropriate classes & activities, as well as, general interaction through their daily routine to improve fluency. You will be required escort them to extracurricular activities, assist with homework & school projects. Acting as a good role model is important to motivate them to achieve the highest standards in all that they do.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Governess/Governor who holds relevant teaching qualifications. Candidates who are energetic, active, are able to create a close rapport with the children as well as share an interest in sports are preferred. The ability to speak and teach English and French is essential.
The working schedule will be 6 days on 1 day off. Working up to 12 hours per day, starting from about 9 am.
This role is ideally suited to candidates already located close by and can work on a live out basis.
The clients will consider a live in option for the right candidate, offering a private room in the family home.
The role commences on 15th June 2024, for 3 months.
Package:
Salary €1200 – €1500 per week, depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
Working schedule 6/1, up to 12 hours a day
Temporary contract – 3 months

Requirements:
English & French speaking Governess/Governor
Qualified teacher preferred (PGCE or equivalent)
Experienced with this age in private households
Flexible, hardworking, open-minded, creative, great role model
