A lovely family is looking for a qualified & experienced Governor/Mentor, bilingual in English & French to support the educational needs of their 15-year-old son, following an IB curriculum.
The young man is a bright individual who is attending an International School in Switzerland and requires assistance with mastering the IB programme, with a focus on Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology). The young man is trilingual, his native language is Russian, and he speaks English & French fluently, he is also learning German.
As a Governor/Mentor you will be required to meet the educational needs of the boy by providing educational support, homework assistance & mentoring. Additional duties may involve accompanying him during trips & holidays, arranging activities and managing his schedule.
The ideal candidate will be a bilingual qualified teacher who is experienced with IB curriculums, confident in meeting the young man's educational needs and supporting his school curriculum, have a flexible attitude, hold a high level of education and have previous experience of working in private households. The ability to speak English and French fluently is essential, German would be an advantage.
The working schedule will be 5 days on/2 days off (the exact days off are negotiable), working about 40 hours per week.
The salary on offer is £1100 to £1500 per week, negotiable for the right candidate.
The family is travelling between Montreux, Switzerland and Zvenigorod, Russia with additional international travel. Separate accommodation will be provided.
