Full-time Private Chef required in Singapore. Salary SGD 8,000 – SGD 10,000 per month, live-out, start ASAP.
A private family based in Singapore is seeking an experienced and creative Private Chef to join their household and cater to their culinary needs.
As a Private Chef, you will be responsible for preparing fresh, nutritious, and high-quality meals tailored to the family’s preferences. Initially, you will primarily be catering for the wife, although at times you will also be required to cook for the husband and the family’s two children when they are visiting Singapore. The family spends time across multiple residences worldwide, so flexibility is essential.
The family’s dietary preference is centred around authentic South Indian cuisine, prepared using fresh, wholesome ingredients with a strong focus on clean, nutrition-led cooking. The successful candidate should be confident preparing authentic South Indian dishes using fresh, wholesome ingredients while creating balanced, healthy meals that align with the family’s lifestyle.
Responsibilities will include menu planning, sourcing fresh ingredients, grocery shopping, pantry management, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organisation, and ensuring all meals are prepared to an exceptional standard. You will be expected to manage dietary preferences and adapt menus accordingly while maintaining a varied and creative approach to cooking.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Private Chef within high-profile or private households. Experience preparing authentic South Indian cuisine and creating nutritious, health-focused menus is essential. You will be professional, well-presented, discreet, organised, and able to work independently while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and service. Flexibility and a proactive approach are essential.
The working schedule is 6 days per week, with one day off, which can be agreed based on the family’s requirements.
The role is based in Central Singapore, although the family may relocate to another area within Singapore in the near future. This is a live-out position only suitable to candiates alreay located in Singapore.
