A high profile Russian family is seeking a French speaking Governor/Governess for their young boy aged 5.

The family are looking for an experienced Governor/Governess who is able to support their young boys learning.

As a Governor/Governess you will be responsible for the day-to-day upbringing of the child – promoting good behaviour, teaching etiquette, establishing good routines and educating the child. You will be required to provide sit down structured classes to support his learning at school along with creative and sporty activities to encourage learning. In addition to this you will be required to liaise with his schoolteachers on a daily basis and advise the parents accordingly.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher (PGCE/QTS) with experience of working within private households. Experience of the British curriculum is desirable.

The family currently employ a Russian Nanny who will be responsible for all care duties; therefore your focus will be on education.

The working schedule will be 6 days per week with 1 day off, working from 3pm each day until 7.30pm. Flexibility is required during school holidays.

Salary on offer is £3000 per month.

This is a live out position with no accommodation on offer, therefore only suitable to candidates already located in London.

International travel will be required.
