The Role
Full-time English-speaking Governess required for two children aged 5 & 8, located in Dubai. Salary 25,000 AED–30,000 AED per month. Live-out, starting immediately.
A family located in Dubai is seeking a qualified Governess to support the education and care of their two children.
Both children attend a British school and are achieving well academically. The parents are seeking a Governess who can further support their progress and oversee their educational development, helping them to reach their full potential.
As a Governess, you will support the children’s educational development, providing 1-to-1 classes each evening to further their knowledge and help them excel at school.
Both children are fluent in English and require a Governess who can further develop their vocabulary and communication skills through conversation, educational activities and fun, engaging experiences.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher with previous experience working within private households. They will have a strong understanding of the British curriculum and be confident supporting the children with their education and development over the long term. Holding a Degree in Psychology would be beneficial to your application
The family travels internationally, and you will be required to travel with them.
This is a live-out position, with a private apartment provided close by.
The working schedule is 6/1, with Sundays off. Your duties will commence in the morning, taking the children to school, and resume when they finish school in the afternoons. You will be required to work approximately 10 hours per day.
