Full-time English-speaking Governor required for B6, located in central Moscow, Russia. Salary £1000 – £1400 per week. Start ASAP.
A lovely family is looking for a qualified and experienced English-speaking Governor for their son aged 6 years old to support him in his general development and education.
As a Governor, you will be required to immerse the boy in the English language through structured and planned games, activities, and play. You will be responsible for meeting the boy's daily needs with routines and offer learning at every opportunity. You will also escort him from school, during walks, and to additional activities, promote good behaviour, teach etiquette, and be a positive role model.
The boy attends a Russian school where he studies English as an additional subject, he is a beginner in English. He is active and enjoys swimming, breakdancing, and football. He also likes to study and learn about various mechanisms and construction. He has a younger sister aged 1 1/2, who has a nanny, occasionally you may be required to involve her in some activities and play.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified and experienced teacher with previous experience of working with this age group in private households. The candidate should hold relevant qualifications (PGCE/CELTA/QTS) as well as a solid understanding of primary education. The candidate should be enthusiastic, energetic & friendly, able to engage the boy in a fun and relaxed manner.
The working schedule will be 5 days on / 2 days off. Saturdays and Sundays are full working days from 9 AM to 9 PM and 3 weekdays (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) from 4 PM to 9 PM. Flexibility is much appreciated.
The family is located in central Moscow, walking distance from the metro Park Kultury.
This is a live-out position, ideally suitable for candidates already based in Moscow. Accommodation is negotiable for the right candidate.
The salary on offer is £1000 – £1400 per week and is negotiable depending on the skills and qualifications of the candidate.
