Full-time English-speaking Nanny/Governess required in Dubai for G3.5 & B5, Salary 20,000 – 25,000 AED per month. Live-in or out. Start January.
A welcoming Chinese family, recently relocated to Dubai, is seeking an experienced and proactive Nanny/Governess to care for and educate their two older children – a 3.5-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy.
As a Nanny/Governess, your focus will be on children’s educational and personal development. You will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages learning through play, imagination, and creativity. The children enjoy painting, puzzles, arts and crafts, and outdoor play, and the family would like a candidate who can build on these interests while minimising screen time and introducing a more structured daily routine.
The Governess will also be responsible for instilling good manners, mealtime etiquette, and social skills, ensuring the children develop positive habits and independence. As they attend an English-speaking school, your role will include supporting their language development, confidence, and academic growth through fun, educational-based play in subjects such as English and Maths.
At weekends, the children enjoy swimming, horse riding, and skating, and you will accompany and engage them in these activities while maintaining a balance between fun and education.
The family also has a 10-month-old baby who is cared for by their Filipino nanny.
The ideal candidate will be warm, energetic, and professional, with a hands-on, creative approach to childcare. A teaching qualification or background in Early Years or Primary Education would be highly beneficial. A driver’s licence would also be beneficial, as allow for school pickups using the family car.
The family offers flexibility around the working schedule, with a 6/1 preference but open to a 5/2 arrangement for the right candidate. The salary will reflect the working schedule.
Working days will include weekends, working up to 10 hours per day, weekdays will commence at approximately 2.30pm to start the school collection and finish when the children go to bed at approximately 8.30pm.
This is a live-in or live-out role depending on the candidate’s preference. A private room will be provided for live-in.
