Full-time – Private Chef (live in/out)

Full-time Private Chef required for a private household in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Salary 12,000–17,000 AED per month. Live-in or live-out. Start ASAP.

A private household based in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced and talented Chef to oversee the preparation of daily meals, providing high-quality, varied and well-balanced cuisine to suit the family’s preferences and requirements.

As a Private Chef, you will be responsible for planning menus, sourcing fresh ingredients and preparing a variety of meals to a consistently high standard. The family has a strong preference for European cuisine, so extensive experience preparing European dishes is essential. You should have an excellent understanding of European cooking styles, ingredients and techniques, with the ability to prepare both traditional favourites and contemporary dishes. You will be expected to create varied, well-balanced menus while adapting to the family’s individual tastes and preferences.

Maintaining excellent kitchen standards, managing food stock, sourcing quality ingredients and ensuring the kitchen is kept clean and organised will also form part of your responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will be a professional, creative and well-organised Chef with substantial experience specialising in European cuisine, within private households. You should take great pride in your cooking, have excellent knowledge of food preparation and presentation, and be confident creating menus that reflect the family’s preferences. A positive attitude, discretion and the ability to work independently are essential.

The working schedule will be six days per week, with one day off. Flexibility will be required depending on the family’s schedule and requirements.

This is a live-in or live-out position, preference will be given to candidates located close by.

Requirements:
Extensive experience as a Private Chef 
Strong specialism and experience in European cuisine 
Excellent knowledge of European cooking styles, ingredients and techniques
Ability to plan menus and prepare balanced, high-quality meals
Excellent food presentation and preparation skills
Knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen management
Well-organised, reliable and professional
Flexible regarding working hours and family requirements
Able to work independently
Available to start ASAP
