The Role
A lovely family located in Dubai is seeking a highly experienced SEN Nanny/Governess to support the care and development of their 7-year-old son who has hyperactivity, developmental delays, and ADHD. As a SEN Nanny/Governess your main duties will include supporting the child’s daily routines and ensuring his needs are met. Working closely with his therapists, parents, and school, setting firm boundaries, and assisting with his behavioural needs. Encouraging development through educational activities, sourcing educational materials, and planning fun and engaging activities. Additionally, you will be required to promote good hygiene, assist with bathing, and bedtime routines, and work closely with the other Nanny in the household. The family is looking for someone to stay with the family for at least two years as the young boy does not like change. The house is fully staffed, and you will be collected/returned each day by the driver therefore no driving is required for this position.
The ideal candidate will be an energetic and enthusiastic individual with 5+ years of previous experience working as a SEN Nanny/Governess with children of the same age. Holding SEN qualifications is essential for this role. Holding an ABA certificate is an advantage. In addition, you will act as a positive role model to the children within the household, promote good manners, and have a naturally caring nature. You must hold outstanding communication skills, and be firm and fun for the young boy to thrive. This is a live-out position with accommodation provided close by. International travel required.
The working schedule will be 5 days per week working from 6.30 am – 8.30 pm. Time off will be provided while the child is at school.
Package:
Salary: 30,000 AED – 35,000 AED per month
5-day working schedule
Live-out – accommodation provided
Visa 30 days paid annual leave
