Part-time English-speaking Governess/Governor required for G9, B7 & B4, located on the outskirts of Moscow, Russia. Salary £900 – £1200 per week. Start September 2024.
A high-profile family looking for a qualified and experienced English-speaking Governess/Governor for their children G9, B7 & B4 to support them in their general development and academic studies. The main focus will be on working with the older children, with some games, play, and outside activities with the youngest.
As a Governess/Governor, you will be required to immerse the children in the English language through structured and planned games, activities, and play. You will be responsible for meeting the daily needs of the children with routines and offer learning at every opportunity. The children's native language is Russian, they are nearly fluent in the English language and beginners at French.
The educational focus will be to help the older children master the international schooling program, creating a learning program, extra curriculum activities, homework assistance and liaison with parents and school teachers.
You will act as a positive role model, encourage independence and good organisational skills and promote positive behavior.
The ideal candidate will have relevant teaching qualifications and experience working with this age group in private households. A solid understanding of early years and primary education is required. The candidate will be an enthusiastic, intelligent, friendly & flexible, who can engage the children in a fun and relaxed manner.
Speaking French as an additional language would be beneficial to your application.
The children have some dietary requirements to accommodate, to be discussed at interview.
The working schedule will be 5 days on / 2 days off, working approximately 24-30 hours per week.
Weekdays will be from 3 pm – 7 pm and Saturdays will be from 9 am – 7 pm.
Flexibility is required. The exact schedule is negotiable.
The family is located on the outskirts of Moscow (Razdory Village), a marshrut taxi can be taken from Molodezhnaya metro station to the village.
This is a live-out position with no accommodation or visa provided therefore only suitable for candidates who are already based in Moscow.
The salary on offer is £900 – £1200 per week and is negotiable depending on the skills and qualifications of the candidate.
Interviews will take place in August with the position commencing September 2024.
