Part-time English-speaking Governess/Governor required for B5 & B3, located in central Moscow, Russia. Salary £500 – £700 per week. Start ASAP.
A high-profile family based in Moscow is looking for a qualified and experienced English-speaking Governess/Governor for their boys aged 5 & 3 to assist in their learning and development.
As a Governess/Governor, you will be required to immerse the children in English through structured and planned games, activities and play. You will be responsible for meeting the daily needs of the children with routines and offer learning at every opportunity. The educational focus will be to develop and improve their communication skills in English. You will escort them to parks and additional activities, promote good behaviour, teach etiquette, and be a positive role model. You will be expected to liaise with parents, tutors, and other members of staff.
The boys are active and energetic, they enjoy sports & construction. They will attend kindergarten daily on weekdays. Their native language is Russian and they are beginners in English.
The ideal candidate will have relevant teaching qualifications (PGCE, CELTA, QTS) and experience working with this age range. The candidate will be an enthusiastic, fun, friendly and flexible teacher, who can engage the children in a fun and relaxed manner. The candidate will become a friend to the children, share their love of sports and other interests, and build a trusting relationship with them.
The household is fully staffed.
The family is located in central Moscow and in walking distance from "Ulitsa 1905 goda" metro station.
This is a live-out position with no accommodation provided.
The working schedule is Saturday and Sunday, working up to 10 hours per day, commencing from 10 am.
The salary on offer is £500 – £700 per week and is negotiable depending on the skills and qualifications of the candidate.
