The Role
A lovely Russian family who is residing in Dubai is seeking an exceptional Governess to assist in the care and development of their 8-year-old daughter.
As a Governess, you will be responsible for meeting the daily needs of the girl, providing a high standard of care, and ensuring she is reaching all age-appropriate milestones and development. You will be required to create & organise engaging play, games and activities to further her development, assist with organising the schedule and teach manners and etiquette. You will be required to accompany her with the driver to and from school and additional activities.
The girl is bilingual in English & Russian. She is in year 4 at the British school and has a lot of additional activities. She needs assistance in mastering the school program and continuing to learn English. The ideal candidate will be a flexible, energetic, kind Governess and qualified Teacher who has experience working with children of this age in private households. Ability to speak and teach Russian will additionally be beneficial.
The family has a fully-staffed household, and they are keen to find the right candidate who will be with them long-term.
The working schedule will be 4 days on / 3 days off. Working around 30 hours a week: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 3pm to 9pm and Saturday or Sunday full working day. Flexibility is greatly appreciated. The family is based in Beachfront, Dubai.
This is a live-out position ideally suitable for candidates who are already based in Dubai.
Package:
Salary £900 – £1300 per week 4 days on / 3 days off, 30 hours a week
Live-out (no accommodation provided)

Qualified teacher
Previous experience working with children of the same age
Enthusiastic, friendly, professional, patient, flexible Ability to speak & teach Russian is beneficial
