The Role
Full-time English-speaking Rota Governess/Teacher required for two girls aged 5 and 7, located in Dubai, UAE. Salary 25,000-30,000 AED per month. 2 weeks on/off, live-in. Start ASAP.
A family based in Dubai is seeking a qualified, experienced and engaging Rota Governess/Teacher to support their two daughters, aged 5 and 7, with their education, academic progress and wider development.
As a Governess/Teacher, you will take responsibility for supporting the girls’ learning both alongside and beyond the school curriculum. Duties will include assisting with homework and school projects, reinforcing key academic areas, providing additional tuition where required, encouraging strong study habits and creating engaging educational activities tailored to each child’s individual needs and interests.
You will be expected to monitor academic progress, identify areas where additional support may be beneficial and create structured learning plans that complement the children’s school education. The role should combine strong academic guidance with wider enrichment, encouraging curiosity, confidence, independence and a genuine enjoyment of learning.
The successful candidate will work closely with the family, school and wider household team to ensure consistency across the girls’ education, extracurricular commitments and development. You should be confident liaising with teachers, supporting school communication and maintaining a clear understanding of each child’s academic goals.
The working schedule is 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, providing 24/7 cover during the working rotation.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher with PGCE/QTS, with strong classroom and/or private teaching experience supporting children of a similar age. The family are looking for someone warm, energetic, intellectually engaging and highly organised, who can act as a positive role model and build a strong educational relationship with both girls.
International travel will form part of the role, and candidates must be flexible and comfortable accompanying the family while maintaining continuity in the children’s education.
Accommodation will be provided while on duty, and the family will provide flights to and from the placement for each rotation.

Requirements:
English-speaking Governess/Teacher
Qualified Teacher (PGCE/QTS)
Strong teaching and academic support experience
Experience with children of a similar age
Confident supporting curriculum progression and schoolwork
Experience creating structured, personalised learning programmes
Strong school and parent liaison skills
Comfortable working within a fully staffed household
Highly organised, proactive and collaborative
Flexible to travel internationally
Able to start ASAP
