Full-time – Teacher (live out)

Full-time Native English-speaking Teacher required for B14, located in Paris, France, Salary £6000 – £8000 per month, start ASAP.

This role is only suited to European passport holders.

An American family currently located in Paris is seeking a highly experienced, qualified and professional teacher to provide a home-schooling environment for their teenage son aged 14.

The boy is doing well at school but does lack concentration from time to time. The family are seeking a fun, modern and engaging teacher to replicate his school’s curriculum and redesign it based on his learning abilities and interests.

The boy is intelligent and enjoys hobbies such as photography and skateboarding.

As a teacher, your main responsibility will be to plan and provide fun classes, and engaging activities based on the American curriculum. In addition to this, you will act as an appropriate role model/mentor as well as promote good manners, teach etiquette and promote learning at every opportunity.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher (PGCE/QTS as a minimum) with previous experience working in a private household. Past experience and success in achieving good results with teenage children is desirable.

The family is based in Paris for 1 year on business and will be returning to the USA after this period.

This is a live-out position with private accommodation provided.

The working schedule will be 5 days on and 2 days off (weekends off). The working hours will be from 9 am until 3.30 pm.

International travel is required on a regular basis.
