Temporary English-speaking Junior Governess required for G9, located in Pula, Croatia. Salary €2500+ per month, 3 – 4 month contract. Start ASAP.
A lovely family is looking for a Governess on a temporary basis to promote the learning of the English language to their 9 years old daughter.
The family will be in Croatia near Pula, Istria region for their summer holidays and requires a Governess to introduce their daughter to the English language through fun, engaging activities and play.
As a Temporary Governess, your main focus will be on the girl’s language abilities, making sure she is learning English through everyday activities, fun games and daily routines. You will act as a companion/mentor during the holiday. Some basic care duties will also be involved as well as preparing light meals if the parents are out for the day. The young girl speaks Russian, she is learning English, Chinese & Spanish and would love to learn French, she also plays the piano and the violin.
The ideal candidate will be active and energetic governess with previous experience of working with this age range. You will have a fun, positive and friendly approach. Ability to speak & teach Chinese, Spanish or French would be beneficial.
The working schedule can be 5 days on / 2 days off or is 6 days on with 1 day off. Negotiable. The working hours will be up to 12 hours per day with appropriate breaks given.
This is a live-in position with a separate room provided within the family house.
The contract can start in May or June 2023. Interviews are taking place ASAP.
This role is ideally suitable for candidates who are already based in Croatia and seeking an opportunity to extend their experience and skills.
