The Role
Full-time English-speaking Nanny required in Sarasota, Florida for G10 months & G2, salary $1600 per week, live in, start ASAP.
A family located in Florida is seeking a professional, dedicated caring Nanny to care for their young daughters.
As a Nanny, you will be required to meet all of the daily needs of the young girls. You will be responsible for providing a high level of care and ensuring they are meeting all their developmental milestones.
Duties will include getting the girls up and prepared for the day, planning fun activities and educational based play, supervising mealtimes and assisting with evening routines. You will provide an interactive learning environment for both children to promote development – dedicating time for reading and learning each day.
The oldest girl will be starting school and you will be expected to drive her to and from school. In addition you will be responsible for the children’s laundry, toys and belongings as well as assisting with the children’s schedules and organisation of activities and excursions within the area.
There is an older sibling in the home, who has her own nanny providing support for after school.
The ideal candidate will hold relevant childcare qualifications and have extensive experience working in the early years and private households. The Nanny should be confident, outgoing, friendly and hardworking. You must be a good multitasker as you will be responsible for both children at the same time and must be confident to do so. Preference will be given to candidates who have a strong knowledge of montessori.
The household is fully staffed with a chef and a housekeeper.
The working schedule is 6 days per week, working up to 12 hours per day, from 8am – 8pm.
This is a live-in position with a large shared bedroom (with the housekeeper) provided within the family home. The room includes a small kitchen.
The salary on offer is from $1600 per week.
