Full-time – Governess/Governor (live in)

Full-time English-speaking Governess/Governor required for B11, located in Abu Dhabi, UAE, 6548 – 7951 AED per week. Live in, Start ASAP

A busy single-parent family is seeking a highly experienced, qualified and professional Governess/Governor to assist with morning routines and academic support for the child after school. 

As a Governess/Governor, you will assist with the morning routine and escort the child to and from school. You will be required to attend school meetings and coordinate with the school to ensure he is meeting his full potential. You will assist the child with his homework, escort him to after-school activities and organise his schedule accordingly. The father is looking for a candidate that can introduce the child to new extracurricular activities as well as provide emotional support for him. 

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Governess/Governor who is a qualified teacher with a solid understanding of the IB curriculum. Good administrative and organisational skills are required, along with a friendly and calm personality. The ability to work as a team is crucial as the family has a fully staffed household including a nanny, driver, and chef.

This is a live-in position with a private bedroom and bathroom provided in the family home. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in UAE. 

The working schedule will be 6 days per week working up to 12 hours per day. The father travels often and you will be required to provide proxy parenting during this time. A different working schedule will be required during the holidays.
