The Role
Temporary English-speaking Governor/Governess required for B3 & B8, located in Moscow / Suzdal , Russia, salary £900 – £1100 per week. Live out. Start ASAP for 6-7 week contract.
A returning Russian family is seeking a professional, active, energetic and sporty Governor/Governess to support their boys aged 3 and 8, in their general development and academic studies.
The boys are fluent in Russian, have a good understanding of English and French, The older boy attends an International school and has previous experience of learning French. He also plays piano. Both boys are very active and fond of sports (Sap boarding, Skateboarding, Boks, Jiu Jitsu, Swimming) they also love to draw and play with different constructors.
As a Governor/Governess, you will be responsible for supporting them with general growth and development and improving their level of English. You will be required to arrange different activities and spend a lot of time outside, you will also be required to be a good role model and motivate them to achieve the highest standards in all that they do. You will create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment in which the children can thrive and develop.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic English-speaking Governor / Governess with a sporty nature, who is able to engage the children in a fun and relaxed manner. Candidates with a young energetic and active character and ability to create a close rapport with the children with shared hobbies (sports) are preferred. The candidate will be experienced with this age range and has previously worked in private households. The candidate should hold relevant teaching qualifications. Ability to speak French or Chinese would be beneficial in your application.
The family is currently located in central Moscow (the nearest metro station is Mayakovskaya). They are planning to spend most part of this Summer in Suzdal, Russia.
The role is live out and will provide a separate apartment, cover all travel expenses and provide meals.
The working schedule is 5 days on / 2 day off, working 5 -7 hours per day. Flexibility is required. The contract can be extended into a permanent position for the right candidate from September 2023.
The contract from 11th July – 20th of August 2023. Interviews to take place ASAP.
This role is only suitable for the candidates who are already based in Russia and have a visa.
