Part-time – Tutor/Governor

Part-time English-speaking Tutor/Governor required for the boy aged 4, located on the outskirts of Moscow, Russia. RUB 5000 – RUB 7000 per hour. Start December 2023.

A returning Russian family is seeking a professional, enthusiastic & energetic Tutor/Governor to educate and support their boy aged 4 ½ years old. The boy is a beginner in English. He attends English kindergarten for several hours a day.

As a Tutor/Governor you will be required to develop the child’s English language and learning through interactive and structured activities. Classes will need to be delivered in a fun and engaging manner through interactive activities, games and communication based on the boys’ interests. Classes can be arranged at home and also outside during walks.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified & enthusiastic teacher, engaging and playful with a natural ability with children. Childcare and/or teaching qualifications are essential along with the experience of working with children of this age in private households. The ability to speak basic Russian will be beneficial in your application.

Classes are required 3 times a week, for 1-2 hours per class. 2 x classes are to take place on the weekend before 2 pm or after 4 pm . 1 x class during the week after 4 pm. The schedule is negotiable for the right candidate.

The family is located on the outskirts of Moscow (Rublevskoe highway), taxi or driver can be provided from the nearest station of electric trains (Usovo).

Hourly rate is RUB 5000 – RUB 7000 per hour.

This position is only suitable for candidates who are already based in Moscow.
