Full-time – Bilingual Governess (live out)

Full-time Bilingual Russian & English-speaking Governess required for G8 & G10 located on the outskirts of Moscow, Russia. Salary £800 – £1100 per week. Live-out, start ASAP.

A Russian family is seeking a qualified, professional, experienced and energetic Russian&English-speaking Governess for their two daughters aged 8 & 10 years old to assist in their care, learning, and development.

As a Governess you will be responsible for the children’s education; supporting their current school programs, offering further subject mentoring, educational development, homework assistance and extracurricular activities. You will be required to encourage them to be as independent as possible with their learning and to promote a positive attitude toward self-development, organise routines and accompany the girls to sports clubs and other activities.

The girls are attending a Russian school and are additionally learning English and French. The Governess will be required to assist with the school program, further develop & improve their English skills through daily interaction and activities, and, more importantly, will be responsible for their cultural development and learning beyond school. Therefore, knowledge in such fields as culture, music, history or sport will be beneficial to your application. There is a younger brother who is 5 years old, who has his own Nanny.

In addition, you will act as an appropriate role model/mentor to the girls and promote good manners, teach etiquette and promote a healthy lifestyle. You will assist with wake-up, dressing, mealtimes, accompanying to and from school, cleanliness and bedtimes. The house is fully staffed so no cleaning or cooking duties are required.

The ideal candidate will have an energetic and intelligent nature and be responsible and confident in being a sole carer. A friendly and caring personality is essential to build a long-lasting bond and trust with the charges, as well as being organised. Educational qualifications are desirable for the position, along with previous experience of working in private households. The ability to speak & teach French would be beneficial for this role.

The working schedule is 5 days on / 2 days off, working up to 10 hours a day. The exact working days are negotiable.

The family is located on the outskirts of Moscow (Rublevskoe Highway). This is a live-out position with a private apartment or rental allowance provided for the candidate.

This role is Ideally suitable for candidates who are already based in Moscow.
