Full-time – Domestic Couple – (live in)

Full-time French-speaking domestic couple required for a family located in France. Salary: €6,500 net per month shared per couple. Live-in. Start ASAP.

A well-known family to our agency, located in France, is seeking a professional, friendly, and experienced French-speaking Domestic Couple (Chef & Butler) to assist with the organisation of their family home.

As a Chef, you will be expected to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner most days for the family. There may also be occasional lunch or dinner parties. Responsibilities include menu planning, grocery shopping, overseeing the budget, pantry management, maintaining and cleaning the kitchen, and assisting with additional duties within the home, such as overseeing contractors, paying invoices, running errands, accepting deliveries, and shopping. You will also need to work effectively as part of the household team. Preference will be given to a female chef.

As a Butler, you will be responsible for the overall management of the family home and meeting the family’s needs, including maintenance, security, cleaning, and scheduling of service contractors. You will manage household operations to ensure exceptional service is provided to the family and their guests. A key responsibility will include professional table service, as well as organising receptions and formal dinners, with an emphasis on proper table settings and etiquette during meals.

Both candidates should be experienced in their fields, professional, caring, and warm individuals who will fit into the family and be great team players. The Domestic Couple should be energetic, active, hardworking, healthy, and able to work under pressure and in busy environments.

You should have excellent organisational and time management skills, be friendly and approachable in your manner, and carry out work calmly and professionally. The family seeks candidates with a hands-on and flexible approach.

The working schedule is 5/2. Working two weekends per month is required, along with flexibility when the family is hosting events.

This is a live-in position, with a private room provided within the family home.
