Full-time – Governess (live in/out)

Full-time English-speaking Governess required in Dubai, UAE for B2, 20,000 – 25,000 AED per month, Start August.

A client newly located in Dubai is seeking an active English-speaking Governess to join their family to provide care and educational support to their young son aged, 2 1/2. 

As a Governess, you will be responsible for meeting the daily needs of the child; providing a high standard of care within a nurturing environment, following a routine and schedule, and providing educational support and development.  

Additional duties will include escorting to and from school and after school activities (music and sports), assisting with the day-to-day schedule, creating educational activities and recreational play, and assisting with homework, reading, and subject mentoring with a focus on Maths and English. You will promote independence, and good behaviour and teach manners. 

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Governess with previous experience working in private households, with an energetic nature and caring character.  Offering a second language will be beneficial to your application (French, Arabic, German, Spanish or Mandarin)

International travel will be required. 

This is a live-out position with no accommodation provided. Live in could be considered for the right candidate.  Therefore, preference will be taken on those already located in Dubai.  
The working schedule is Monday – Saturday, working from 6 am – 9 am and from 3 pm – 9 pm. Saturday hours will differ.
