The Role
Full-time Arabic-speaking Governess required for B1 & B4, located in Dubai, UAE, 18,000 – 20,000 AED per month. Start ASAP.
A welcoming family based in Dubai is seeking a highly experienced and professional Arabic-speaking Governess to provide educational, linguistic, and personal support to their two young sons, aged 4 and 1.
As a Governess, your primary responsibility will be to immerse the children in the Arabic language through play, learning, and daily interaction. You will also assist with all aspects of their education, care, play, mentorship, and guidance, ensuring a nurturing and stimulating environment.
Daily duties will include collecting the children from school/nursery, escorting them to extracurricular clubs, overseeing routines, preparing engaging activities, and supporting their social and emotional growth.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified and experienced Governess/Teacher with at least 5 years of relevant experience in similar roles. A background in early years education and language development is highly desirable. French is preferred as a second language, with Mandarin as a third language.
The working schedule will be from approximately 2 pm until bedtime at 8 pm.
The family also travels regularly to the South of France during the summer and ski resorts during the winter, and the Governess will be expected to accompany them.
You will work closely with other household staff to ensure the children’s well-being and development.
This is a live-out position.
Preference given to those with their own accommodation and already located in Dubai. However, accommodation could be considered.
The working schedule is 5 or 6 days per week, with weekdays essential and at least one weekend day preferred.
Salary on offer is 18,000 – 20,000+ AED, Salary negotiable for the right candidate.
