Full-time – Governess (live out)

Full-time Governess required for G2, located in Dubai, salary 25,000 – 40,000 AED per month (dependent on experience). Live-out position. Start date: ASAP.

An experienced, calm, and professional Early Years English-speaking Governess is required to support a UHNW family with their daughter aged 2.

The focus of the role is educational, developmental, and routine-led. The Governess will design and deliver a structured, play-led daily routine supporting language development, motor skills, attention, curiosity, and social-emotional growth. Learning should be purposeful, engaging, and developmentally appropriate, with a strong emphasis on learning through play rather than desk-based activities.

The role includes maintaining a prepared learning environment with rotating activities, books, sensory play, practical-life tasks, and daily outdoor time. The Governess will actively support speech and language development through conversation, storytelling, reading, and songs, while modelling independence, manners, and emotional regulation using gentle, consistent boundaries.

You will work closely with the parents, respecting household rhythms and preferences. Screens are to be kept to a minimum.

The ideal candidate will hold Montessori qualifications and have extensive experience working in early years, with a warm, nurturing approach to the education and care they deliver. 

This is a long-term role suited to a career governess who is confident working within a private household and able to act as a consistent developmental anchor during these formative early years.

The working schedule is Monday – Friday, working from approximately 8.30 am – 5.30 pm.

The salary on offer ranges from 25,000 to 40,000 per month, reflective of skills, experience and qualifications.

Requirements:
Experience as an Early Years Governess
Montessori, Reggio, or play-based learning background 
Comfortable working in UHNW households
Valid first aid and excellent references
Fluent English speaker
