Full-time – Governess (live out)

Full-time English-speaking Governess required for 2 children B4 & B9. Located in Lagos, Nigeria Salary £5,200 – £6,400 per month. Live out, Start ASAP.

A busy family based in Nigeria is looking for a qualified and experienced English-speaking Governess to work with their 2 children.

As a Governess, your main focus will be on the children’s education. The 9-year-old boy will soon be transitioning to a high school and will need to support him to ensure he is meeting his potential. He is currently studying the American curriculum. You will also be required to meet all of the daily needs of the younger sibling.

You will be responsible for providing a high level of care, meeting both daily routines and developmental milestones along with escorting to extracurricular activities and liaising with teachers. You will be required to provide fun, engaging lessons to enhance and promote education. 

The ideal candidate will have strong teaching experience in primary and secondary schools. Be able to tutor in all core topics to a high standard with a solid understanding of the American curriculum. You should be friendly, flexible, organised and be a positive role model and mentor to the children.

The working schedule will be 6 days on with 1 day off working 8 hours per day. Saturday will be reduced hours. 

This is a live-out position with a private apartment provided close to the family home.

International travel is required with the family.
