Full-time – Governess (live out)

Full-time English-speaking Governess required for 3 children, located in Singapore, £1500 – £1800 per week. Live out, Start November.

A busy family is seeking a highly experienced, qualified, and professional Governess to assist with the care, and academic support of their three children aged G2, G4, & G5.

As a Governess, you will be required to escort the oldest child to and from school with the family driver,  assist the 5-year-old with her homework, organise the children’s schedules, and work closely with the PA, personal shopper, drivers, and other household staff. Provide a fun-based learning environment. 

In addition to this, you will escort the children to extra curriculum activities, and provide a fun and creative learning environment to engage each child. The 2 years and 4-year-old attend a daily club on the family grounds along with other family members. The family requires a play-based learning environment with arts and crafts, sports activities, theatre, and dance. You will act as a positive role model to all the children, promote good manners, and have a naturally caring nature.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Governess who is a qualified teacher holding a minimum of a PGCE/BA/QTS, with a solid understanding of the British curriculum. Good administrative and organisational skills are required, along with a friendly and creative personality. Private household experience is essential. You will have great communication skills and lots of wonderful ideas to engage the children.

Please note: The Governess must be educated to a degree level due to visa requirements

This is a live-out position, with accommodation provided close to the family home. 

The working schedule will be 5 days per week. Working from Monday – Friday, working up to 10 hours per day.  Flexibility is required.

Salary £1500 – £1800 per week.
