The Role
Full-time English-Speaking Governess/proxy parent required for G9, located in Abu Dhabi, salary $900 – $1200 per week, live in, start ASAP.
A family located in Abu Dhabi is seeking a fun, patient, and active Governess to care for and educate their 9-year-old daughter.
The young girl attends school each day from 7.30 am – 3 pm, she is achieving good results at school and enjoys her studies. Her parents travel often for business and work out of the home each day, and they require a reliable Governess to care for their daughter and provide proxy parenting.
As a Governess, you will work with the girl daily to immerse her in the English language through fun and interactive games. You will be required to provide her with homework assistance and offer tuition where needed. You will be responsible for meeting the daily needs of the young girl with routines and offer learning at every opportunity. In addition to this, you will be required to oversee her wardrobe, making sure she is prepared for school each day.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified and experienced Governess holding relevant experience with this age range. You will be a kind Governess with a lot of imagination and energy to keep the girl occupied and engaged. In addition to this, you must have experience in sole charge roles and be able to drive.
This is a live-in position with a private bedroom provided within the family home.
The working schedule will be 5/2 working from 7 am until 8 pm, time off during the day.
