Full-time – Governor (live in)

Full-time English-speaking Governor required for B3, Family Located in Sochi, Russia. £900 – £1100 per week, Start ASAP

A Russian family is seeking a caring, kind, professional, and experienced English-speaking Governor for their 3-year-old son to assist in his learning and development. They also have a 5-year-old daughter who has her own French & English governesses and teachers.

As a Governor, you will work with the boy daily to immerse him in the English language and British culture through fun, structured classes, games, interactive activities, and play. You will be responsible for meeting the daily needs of the boy with routines and offer learning at every opportunity. Sometimes assistance with the young girl might be required.

The children’s native language is Russian, they are also learning English, French & Chinese. A full team is in place to support the children’s development, including Chinese, English, and French-speaking Governesses, you will be required to work with them as a team in accordance with the children’s schedule.

The ideal candidate will have relevant childcare qualifications and/or teaching qualifications, with previous experience of working with young children in private households. A solid understanding of early years and primary education is desirable. A professional, friendly, energetic, enthusiastic & flexible approach is required.

The working schedule is negotiable. It could be a Rota schedule or working 5,5 days on /1,5 days off, approximately 8 hours per day.

The family will be traveling between Sochi and Crimea, throughout the year they spend time in France and the Maldives. The family offers a separate room in each location, in Sochi, the family offers accommodation in a luxury hotel, where all the teachers supporting the children will reside with the family. The candidate will have access to the facilities and be on a full board basis, with all meals provided. Being vaccinated against Covid would be beneficial to your application.

The family is offering face-to-face interviews/trials in Moscow and then onto Sochi. Candidates will fly to Sochi and will need to self isolate before meeting the family. COVID testing is required.

The salary on offer is £900 – £1100 per week and is negotiable depending on the skills and qualifications of the candidate.
