Full-time – Governor (live in)

Full-time English-speaking Governor required for B7, located on the outskirts of Moscow, Russia, £1100 – £1400 per week. Start ASAP.

A recommended Russian family is seeking an energetic, professional and experienced English-speaking Governor for their 7-year-old boy to assist him with learning English along with general development and academic studies.

As a Governor, you will work with the boy daily to immerse him in the English language through structured and planned games, interactive activities, and play. You will be responsible for meeting the daily needs of the child with routines and offer learning at every opportunity. You will also need to promote good behavior, teach etiquette, and be a positive role model and friend.

The boy has a good understanding of the English language and experience of learning English with a native speaker. He needs to improve his current level with a focus on reading and writing communication skills and homework assistance. The boy is very active, he is fond of sports and also learning the Chinese language. 

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Governor with a sporty nature who has relevant childcare & teaching qualifications. A solid understanding of early years and primary education is required. The role is most suited to candidates who are energetic and active.

The working schedule is negotiable 5 days on / 2 days off or 6 days on / 1 day off (Sunday), working up to 10 hours per day. The exact working hours will depend on the child’s health and schedule at school. Flexibility is required. A driver’s licences and ability to drive the boy to/from school will be beneficial in your application.

The family is located on the outskirts of Moscow (Rublevskoe highway, Gorki). The nearest metro station is Molodezhnaya.

This is a live-in position with a separate room provided in the family house. The family travels often and the Governor will be required to accompany them.

The salary on offer is £1100 – £1400 per week and is negotiable depending on the skills & qualifications of the candidate and confirmed schedule.

Preference will be given to candidates who are already based in Moscow.
