Full-time English-speaking Homeschooling Teacher required for G2 & B6 located in Tuxedo Park, USA, salary $120,000 – $160,000 gross per annum, live-out. Start ASAP.
A family located in Tuxedo Park, New York is seeking an active and engaging homeschooling teacher to join their family and support the education of their two young children.
As a teacher, you will take responsibility for the homeschooling and educational development of the eldest child. You will plan and deliver structured, sit-down lessons in the mornings, covering core academic subjects and ensuring a consistent, stimulating, and engaging learning environment. Afternoons will focus on fun, active, and experiential learning, including outdoor activities, creative projects, and educational outings designed to encourage curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.
The youngest child currently has her own nanny; however, as she grows, the teacher will gradually begin to include her in certain lessons and activities where appropriate. In addition to academic teaching, you will promote all areas of child development, ensuring the child meets age-appropriate milestones while encouraging good behaviour, etiquette, and positive manners.
The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced and qualified teacher who is confident in taking the lead when planning and delivering a well-rounded educational programme for the children. A genuine love of the outdoors is essential, along with an interest in incorporating nature, sport, and active learning into the children’s daily routine. The family is seeking someone with a calm, relaxed yet focused approach who can create a positive and engaging learning environment while encouraging curiosity, independence, and a love of learning.
The family is only seeking long-term candidates, as the intention is for the teacher to continue supporting the children’s education in the future, with plans to homeschool their daughter once she is old enough.
The working schedule is 5/2 (weekends off), working from 8.30 am – 5 pm each day.
During times of travel, the hours will change, and full flexibility is required.
This is a live-out position with no accommodation provided, therefore only suitable for candidates located close by to Tuxedo Park, New York, USA.
Package:
Salary on offer is $120,000 – $160,000 gross per annum.
