A lovely family located in Chigwell, Essex, is seeking a highly experienced qualified Teacher/Tutor to support the care and education of their 15 year old son.
As a Teacher/Tutor, your main duties will include offering the young boy support in all core subjects in line with the British curriculum. You will also be required to work closely with his teachers and tutors to ensure he is excelling in all subjects, supporting the child’s daily routines and ensuring his needs are met. Collecting the boy from school and escorting him to extracurricular activities, therefore holding a valid driving license is essential for the role. managing his schedule and supporting his daily needs. You will oversee all aspects of the child’s life from menu planning to booking appointments and wardrobe management.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher, holding at least a PGCE/QTS or equivalent, someone who is very organised and has previous experience working with children of the same age in private households. You will be a good team player and work well with all the staff within the household. You must hold a valid driving license. The family has two dogs, therefore being a pet lover is essential for this role.
Accommodation can be provided during working days if you are not located near the family residence. A vehicle will also be made available for travel to and from the family home.
International travel required.
The working schedule will be 6 days per week working Monday – Friday 3 pm – 9 pm and Saturday 9 am – 5 pm. Flexibility is required. During school holidays working hours will be Monday – Saturday 10 am – 5 pm.

Salary: £90,000 – £95,000 gross per annum
