Part-time – Bilingual Governor/Governess

Part-time English & French speaking Governess/Governor required for B8 & B10, located in Monaco, €45 – €60 per hour, Start ASAP

A lovely family located in Monaco is seeking an energetic, engaging and experienced Governess/Governor for their sons aged 8 and 10 years old to support them in their general development and academic studies.

The children are currently studying in an International school in Monaco and they require subject mentoring, support with homework and conversational practice. The children are nearly fluent in the English language and are currently learning French. They need to maintain and improve their current levels in both languages. 

As a Governess/Governor, you will be required to provide structured, engaging & age-appropriate classes & activities, as well as general interaction tjrough daily routine to improve fluency. You will be required to collect the children from school and escort them to extracurricular activities.  Acting as a good role model you will be also required to motivate them to achieve the highest standards in all that they do.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Governess/Governor who holds relevant teaching qualifications. Candidates with a young energetic and active character who can create close rapport with the children and share their hobbies (sports) is preferred. Ability to speak and teach English and French are essential.

The working schedule will be Monday – Friday. Working 3 – 5 hours a day, starting from 3 pm. On Wednesdays you will be required to commence at 12 noon. 

Hourly rate is €45 – €60 per hour and depends on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

The family is located in Monaco. 

This position is ONLY suited to candidates who are already based in Monaco or nearby. Transport and accomodation are not provided.
