The Role
Temporary English-speaking Nanny/Governess required in London (Notting Hill) for 4 children, salary £1400 gross per week. Start Monday 10th April – 30th June (3 month contract).
A returning client is seeking a temporary Nanny/Governess for holiday cover in central London for their children aged B1, G6, G8, & G10.
As a Nanny/Governess, you will be responsible for meeting the daily needs of the children; providing a high standard of care within a nurturing environment, following an already established routine and schedule, and ensuring the children are reaching all age-appropriate milestones.
Additional duties will include preparing lunch for the young boy and meeting his daily routines. For the older children in the home, you will assist with their day-to-day schedules, provide and arrange after-school activities, help with school homework, and encourage independence. You will ensure all the children’s belongings are in order, help get their school bags ready for the next school day and generally be hands-on to assist the family to ensure all the children’s needs are being met.
The ideal candidate will be calm, creative, and organised. You should be independent, proactive, and able to undertake tasks without being managed and have a kind manner. The children are very creative and are looking for a candidate that enjoys arts and crafts along with performing arts. You will be required to collect the children from school on occasion so being a driver is essential for this role.
There are other household staff in the home and you will be required to work with them.
Driver Licence is essential and family car provided for work purposes.
International travel will be required. Due to travel to the USA, you will be required to be fully vaccinated.
This is a live-out position with no accommodation provided so only suitable for candidates located close by.
The working schedule will vary from 5 – 6 days per week working up to 45 hours per week. Flexibility is required with the working schedule.
Possibility of making the role a permanent contract for the right candidate.
