Full-time House Manager required (Hybrid Role), £5,000 – £8,000 gross per month. Start ASAP
An experienced House Manager is sought to oversee multiple properties located in the UK, Spain, and Dubai. This hybrid role requires the successful candidate to be based anywhere but fully travel-ready at short notice to ensure each residence is prepared to the highest standard ahead of the principal’s arrival.
The successful candidate will take full ownership of all properties, ensuring the seamless day-to-day and long-term management of each residence.
Duties will include overseeing all household operations across multiple properties, managing maintenance schedules, coordinating vendors and service providers, and ensuring each home is consistently maintained to an exceptional standard. You will manage and oversee all household staff, including housekeepers and external contractors, ensuring accountability, performance, and high standards are upheld. Responsibilities will also include sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding new staff as required, implementing systems and procedures across all properties, and maintaining detailed household manuals and records.
You will oversee property readiness, ensuring each residence is fully prepared for the principal’s arrival, including deep cleans, stocking provisions, wardrobe preparation, and overall presentation. Additional duties will include managing household budgets, tracking expenses, coordinating renovations or improvement projects, handling inventory and procurement, overseeing security systems, managing utilities and service contracts, and ensuring compliance with local regulations where applicable.
The role will also involve coordinating travel logistics in line with property readiness, liaising with personal assistants or other staff, and anticipating requirements to ensure a seamless transition between residences. You will be expected to identify issues before they arise and resolve them proactively, maintaining a calm and solutions-focused approach at all times.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple properties simultaneously. You will demonstrate strong leadership skills, discretion, and professionalism, with a proven ability to operate independently and at a high level. Flexibility, adaptability, and a hands-on approach are essential, along with the ability to work within a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
Extensive experience working as a House Manager within private households is essential, ideally with experience managing multiple properties internationally. Only candidates with a proven track record of managing complex households and teams will be considered.
The working schedule is Monday to Friday, with the possibility of a sixth working day as required. The candidate must be fully flexible and available to travel at short notice.
The salary on offer is £5,000 – £8,000 gross per month, negotiable for the right candidate.
