Full-time – Nanny/Assistant (live out)

Full-time Nanny/Assistant required for B7, located in Aspen, USA, $90,000 – $100, 000 gross per annum. Start ASAP

A highly recommended client is seeking a career Nanny/Assistant to meet the daily needs of their son as well as supporting the running of their family home.

As a Nanny, you will focus your time and energy on assisting with wake-up, school preparation, healthy breakfast prep and school lunch, transport to and from school, homework, development, well-being, and play. In addition to this, you will assist with after-school activities, general cleanliness in the child’s areas, organization of the child’s belongings and evening routines. You will promote good behavior with reward charts and promote independence with regular chores and responsibilities. Before leaving for the day you will ensure all preparations are made for the next day. 

During the school day, you will undertake duties to assist the mother and ensure the smooth running of the home and family matters, including booking appointments, traveling arrangements, organizing diaries, running errands, managing schedules, grocery shopping, meal preparation for the family, help with the family dogs and other household chores and cleanliness within the home. You will work alongside other household staff and coordinate daily with the parents on their needs.

As an Assistant you should have good attention to detail, feel happy in a fast-paced family home, be able to multitask, and be willing to get involved. Being able to use your own initiative is a must without the need to be micromanaged.

Flexibility is key to this family for longevity. The parents require the option to go out and travel and therefore the candidate must be willing to commit to the responsibility of evening babysitting and/or proxy parenting. Over time is compensated additionally. The family embraces a holistic approach to life, emphasizing physical and mental health and a good diet, and welcomes a candidate who shares and embodies these same values. Driver is required for this position.

The family resides in Aspen, which is a lovely small community with most things within walking or cycling distance. The role would suit a candidate who loves the outdoors and would be happy to join the family on hikes, skiing, and cycling.

This is a live-out position with lovely separate shared accommodation provided not far from the family home. This is shared with the family’s PA who has been with them for a long time. 

The working schedule is 5 days on/2 days off. Flexibility is required and additional hours will be compensated for travel, overtime and proxy parenting. The working hours will be from 6.30 am to 7 pm. 

A competitive salary is on offer to the right candidate up to $100,000 per annum plus benefits.
