Full-time – Governess (live out)

Full-time English-speaking Governess required for G5 & G3, located in Dubai, UAE + travelling. Salary £1100 – £1400 per week. Start January 2024.

A nice family is seeking a caring, kind, sporty, professional, and experienced English-speaking Governess for their daughters to assist in their learning, care, and development.

As a Governess, you will work with the girls to immerse them in the English language through structured and planned games, activities, and play. You will be responsible for meeting their daily needs and offer learning at every opportunity. You will escort them to and from the kindergarten, walks, and additional activities and promote good behavior, teach etiquette, and be a positive role model. In addition, you will also be responsible for meeting their daily needs and supervising the children’s meals, supporting and promoting the children’s independence, teaching them to clean up after meals and games, keeping good hygiene, and their rooms and belongings clean and tidy. 

The educational focus will be to prepare the children for attendance at an international school, developing their communicative skills. They are both beginners in the English language. 
The children are well-mannered, motivated & active – they love music, dancing and tennis. 

The household is fully staffed. There is a younger sibling, with his own nannies and you will be required to work as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Governess with a sporty nature and relevant childcare & teaching qualifications. A solid understanding of early years and primary education is required. The role is most suited to candidates who are energetic, engaging and active.

The working schedule will be 5 days on / 2 day off. Saturday and Sunday are full working days (10 hours per day). Weekdays will be a split shift depending on the school/kindergarten schedule. Flexibility is required.

The family is relocating to Dubai in January 2024. They travel from time to time between Russia & Europe. The Governess will be required to travel with them and continue to provide fun, educational activities to the children, incorporating the world around them.

This is a live-out position with a private apartment or rental allowance provided for the candidate. Ideally suitable for the candidates who are already based in Dubai.

The salary on offer is £1100 – £1400 per week and is negotiable depending on the skills and qualifications of the candidate.
