A nice family located in Dubai is seeking an active, caring, professional and experienced English-speaking Nanny/Governess for their children aged G5, B7 & B9 to assist in their care, development and learning.

As a Nanny/Governess, you will be responsible for meeting the daily needs of the children; providing a high standard of care, and ensuring they are all reaching age-appropriate milestones and development.  You will be responsible for supervising the children’s meals, with occasional light meal prep required. 

You will provide structure and discipline to the children, promote creativity and playtime, coordinate daily activities, escort them during walks and to additional activities, arrange play dates and fun excursions, promote good behaviour, teach etiquette, and be a positive role model.

You will be responsible for creating and monitoring a daily timetable and will be expected to liaise with parents, tutors, drivers and other members of staff. It is important to the parents that the Nanny/Governess is not just a mentor, but a friend to the children, able to interest them and build a trusting relationship with them. The children are well-mannered, motivated & active. 

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Nanny/Governess with a sporty nature and relevant childcare & teaching qualifications. A solid understanding of early years and primary education is required. The role is most suited to candidates who are energetic, engaging and active. Candidate must also have great time management skills to be able to monitor the children’s schedule.

The household is fully staffed, and therefore working a great team player is required. 

The ability to speak Russian will be beneficial to your application, to allow you to communicate with house staff. 

The working schedule will be 6 days on/1 day off, working Monday – Saturday, working approximately 4-5 hours a day from 3:30 pm and Saturdays, approximately 5-8 hours. Flexibility is required. 

Rota schedule is negotiable for the right candidate

The family is based in Dubai (JBR) and travels frequently, the Nanny/Governess will be required to travel with them and continue to provide fun, educational activities to the children, incorporating the world around them.

This is a live-out position, with no accommodation provided. However, A separate room could be provided in the client’s house for the right candidate. 

The salary on offer is 15,000 AED – 20,000 AED per month, negotiable depending on the skills and qualifications of the candidate.
