Full-time House Manager & Nanny (couple) required for a family of 5 located in Amsterdam, €100,000 gross per annum, start ASAP
A returning client, soon to be moving into their new home is seeking a top house Manager to assist with the running of their household and an educated Governess to take care of the educational and developmental needs of the three children aged 12, 5, and 3.
House Manager
The responsibilities of the House Manager will be varied and include the family’s and children’s personal affairs, overseeing the family home and managing household staff, travel, property, and preparing meals for the family of 5.
You will be required to recruit and manage other private staff and service contractors, oversee and support the smooth running of the whole household including but not limited to general housekeeping and organization, repairs and maintenance, kitchen and pantry operation, laundry and wardrobe management, procurement and inventory control and training of staff. In addition, you will manage household budgets and schedules, coordinate and handle personal requests and ensure preferences and standards are met and maintained in all areas at all times.
You should have excellent organizational and time management skills, have a flexible approach to work, be dynamic and be happy to meet the needs of the young busy family.
Nanny
As a Nanny, your main focus and responsibility will be to support and enhance the children’s academic needs through subject mentoring, homework support, and educational-based play and activities ensuring they are learning and thriving at every opportunity.
You will be required to meet the daily needs of the children. Starting in the morning to help the children get ready for school and then commencing at 1 pm to play, engage and mentor the children after they finish school.
The household is fully staffed so no household duties are required for the Nanny.
The ideal candidate will be a professional and kind individual. Teaching qualifications are desirable (PGCE). Experience with young learners as well as teenagers is desirable to meet the needs of all the children.
Salary is €100,000 gross per annum for the couple.
The working days will be 5 days per week.
Accommodation is provided for the couple with a separate kitchen, living area, and bedroom for the couple.
